Danish jewelry brand opening store at Destiny USA - newyorkupstate.com

Syracuse, N.Y. — Trollbeads will open a new store at Destiny USA this spring.

The Danish jewelry brand will open on the first level of Destiny's expansion section near Cheesecake Factory. The store will be across from Michael Kors and next to Rose Bridal in a spot previously occupied by Fracassi Lashes

The company's bracelets are its signature. Shoppers pick out a bracelet band and then customize it from a selection of over 600 beads. Trollbeads also offers necklaces, earrings and other items.

The brand says its glass beads are all unique, with no two being exactly the same.

Trollbeads was founded in 1976 and is now in over 400 cities worldwide, according to Destiny.

The company already has stores at the Crossgates Mall near Albany and Poughkeepsie Galleria in Poughkeepsie. Both malls are owned by Syracuse-based Pyramid Management, which also owns Destiny.

Destiny has said it has several new tenant announcements planned for 2020. Indoor trampoline park chain Get Air plans to open at the mall this year as well.

A number of tenants at the mall are in the process of closing or already have, including Motherhood Maternity, True Religion and Athletic Apex. January is typically a busy month for retail closings everywhere.
